My biggest, probably wrong, headcanon is that Alastor is huge on Christmas. He is the first to play the most obnoxious Christmas music the second December 1st comes around and insists on decking out the Hotel in everything top to bottom

here is when i start evening the playing field. Vox is still monologueing, but a bird's eye view makes them feel more "equal". and even then I give Alastor close up shots where he is the biggest object in the frame. the framing is to make him look isolated, but not "small".

It should go without saying this limitation has wider reaching implications and it is NOT the last time it's relevant, but I found this a much more interesting thing to explore. Lucifer has no reason to care about his kingdom, he cares about his family, and his hellborns and that's about it. lol

If we had had enough runtime or episodes we wanted more time spent with Alastor and the other two Vees. The closest was that scene with Velvette, but I'm glad people took away the right thing from it! Haha Alastor would weirdly get along with them. Which would just piss Vox off more lol

There are always things we can learn from feedback but at this point you won’t see any of that until/if/when we are on season FIVE. We give ourselves criticism, we work through it best we can. Animation takes so long, writing is done at the TOP. 👍

Ok people seem to be taking this too seriously. For the record, I’m beyond aware how people misbehave about shipping which is WHY I haven’t said anything but I will also say a lot of the harassment I have seen is at the hands of certain shippers. And it’s deeply disappointing.
