When attending conventions, it’s important to respect the comfort and boundaries of the actors and guests you meet. Recording whether it’s video, audio, or even snapping photos should never be done without their clear permission. Just ask it’s not that hard and if the actor says no respect it ❤️
Unless I'm mistaken, this was a question asked at Viv's table, and she was recorded without her knowledge or consent. Viv seems to have a healthy attitude about it, but i'm not so chill. Please dont do that at my table. Record panels etc all day. But 1-on-1 interactions? No. That's just weird!
Also while I'm on a posting spree. I have a tendency to not want to disappoint people. I got kinda blindsided at a con with a question that resulted in the "complicated and sad" answer on the spot. While I still feel it applies, people have started getting weirdly nasty about it??
