you never know when someone around you may have an emergency and having a quick reference what to do (and what NOT to do) can be a huge boon if there are no first responders on site yet.

I recently learned that there is a Red Cross first aid app that provides guidance on how to render aid for a variety of needs (bleeding, cardiac arrest, anaphaletic shock, seizure, stroke, etc) based on your level of training. I just downloaded it myself.

That’s my excuse for constantly checking on my seedlings as well! As long as it’s getting me out of the bed in the morning I’m happy lol. I hope your seedlings do well!

To add on a related note- storing / ‘data hoarding’ digital copies of books on hard drives where I can- again fiction and nonfiction. Documents, short reads, and fact sheets can be printed in a pinch as well. (I may have bought a paper cutter for this purpose)

#iyyikowa - I’m fortunate to have the income to frequently buy physical books (fiction and nonfiction). I recommend and loan these out to friends, and I’m going to donate some to my local coffee shop’s little library as well.

Right this minute I’m looking to sign up for CPR and first aid classes near me, with certification offered. Something I hope I’ll never need but good to have as a skill just in case.
