I never forget how my parents do a little flick of the wrist when it comes to whether our names are gender specific. It’s like a shrug of ‘not really’.
That’s why I think respecting pronouns is the bare minimum, it could also prepare those who aren’t used to non-Anglo names to understand. Maybe.

A thinking piece but reads as a rant: The Good Immigrant never needed the backing of a heinous fool. I can’t stand the idea of hiding behind non-white people to then disrespect at Trans, Intersex and Asexual people. When I say racism and transphobia are interlinked, she is the face of it.
