I am sure agents are doing all they can to use us in this situation. But, they don't leak details of "frantic zoom meetings" or the list of alternate players that we are focusing on when one transfer doesn't work out.

Yup.. My worry is that this has been leaked well before we've agreed a deal with the club or the player. Usually that means somebody is actively leaking it to get more interest/money. If this was an honest deal, we'd know only after it had all been agreed IMO
