Puppies had a busy morning helping Alison with the cleaning. Bramble especially likes helping mop the floors & Daisy likes to slink into bathrooms & steal loo rolls. Tired now. Recharging the batteries whilst SFC is out shopping!

Swimming pool just been closed for winter. Only managed to get in once this yer. Getting a new leg for next year so should get more use of it next summer. Just need a new handrail fitting to make it safe for me.

Up early as I needed a pee and there didn’t see much point going back to bed. Good thing F1 practice 3 is currently playing live. Bit cold in salon-séjour though…..thick dressing gown on and a shawl around my shoulders.

Not great morning. Post bought motoring fine 4 me & 4 points off my licence. Bummer! We took SmartCar to garage & I didn’t know where we were going &, it seems, I jumped a red light trying to keep up with SFC. He must have been close to the change from orange to red! But, no, only I have a fine. Poo

Been shopping. Managed 2 time house 2 car, rain shower. Car 2 supermarket, rain shower. Supermarket 2 car, rain shower. Car 2 house, rain shower. Didn’t have to use wipers on car for any parts of the road trip. I am cursed to get wet today! All that and I already had a proper hot shower this am.

Thanks to SFC having a cold, I have been up since 03:30. Dishwasher emptied, games played for the day on the iPad. Not sure what to do next. Gonna b tired later……….

Still have no phone so no Twitter or FB. I’m still alive. Will get a new phone next week. Still trying to sort out debit cards. Wish I knew where my handbag was. Bloody cobbles in Chester!

Having been up for over 5 hours, I’m feeling a bit tired. This getting up at 05:00 is poo! This morning it was triggered by SFC getting up to pee, my kindle book finishing and realising I’d not go back to sleep no matter how long I stayed in bed. Caught up on bake off though.

Lovely meal out last night at L’Imparfait in Bergerac. I had oysters, trou Normand (caviar on champagne sorbet) then a lovely succulent steak. Very low carb so no need to take any drugs. Yeh! We all had the same main course. Hope tonight’s steak at home matches last night’s

About to give up on shredding my ma’s stuff for the day. Got duck in the sous vide and going to serve with broccoli and new potatoes. Given UM some photos of my cousins (his children) and my AJ and Ma together so AJ should be happy when he gets home on Saturday.

Another day of shredding my mother’s paperwork. Up 06:15. Tired now as went to bed at 02:00. Duck a l’orange with new pots for supper tonight. UM had a fall this am and I have lost Rosie. Other than that, all is fine…..

So, today, I’m spending my time shredding all of my mother’s paperwork and sorting photos. Good job SFC has a new (to us) car as old Sheldon is full of stuff from Ma’s house in Clabby. Uncle Mike has settled in well. His breakfast is on the table and he is in the shower.

So, today, I’m spending my time shredding all of my mother’s paperwork and sorting photos. Good job SFC has a new (to us) car as old Sheldon is full of stuff from Ma’s house in Clabby. Uncle Mike has settled in well. His breakfast is on the table and he is in the shower.
Lovely to spend the night in my own bed. That is despite the fact that I woke up at 05:30 but, hey ho, at least I was at home and had plenty of F1 to watch from USA. Rosie is not well. I don’t think she enjoyed us going away so we won’t be doing it again anytime soon.

Arrivéd home. Think Rosie was missing her papa. She happily snuggled up in bed with him where they are both still sleeping It’s been a very long and tiring trip. SFC insisted he put MILin the ground so he knows she can’t bully now. Rosie was unsettled as she has never had a night without us ever.
