From fairytales to modern horror films, wolves are too often cast as monsters and that misinformation shapes public opinion more than science does. In the UK and Ireland, where wolves have been absent for centuries, this fear is one of the biggest barriers to wolf recovery. 🔗 https://bit.ly/48mtSA3
This classic fairytale could be damaging Europe’s wolf rewilding efforts
While wolves once roamed Europe for centuries, for most people, they exist only in stories or on screen

Our SWT/KWS Veterinary Units exist to alleviate animal suffering. This successful operation to save a snared elephant's trunk earlier this year is a powerful reminder of the difference they make. To date, more than 3,800 elephants have been offered life-saving treatment by our Veterinary Units.

Orphaned at a week old, Kaikai has known little family other than her trio of Keepers, Mishak, Joseph, and Simon. They're not just caregivers; they're parents, her safe place, and the reason she came through the darkest chapter of her young life. You can be a part of her family too: swt.bio/kaikai

We’re delighted the fur ban has entered Polish law 👏

The fur industry is cruel and outdated, confining millions of wild animals in tiny cages for an unnecessary product. Sadly, it remains legal in other countries, which export and sell fur products into the UK.

Since hunting season began, 76 wolves have been killed in MT and with over 3.5 months of the season still ahead, this number could rise even higher.

At the same time, ESA protections for wolves remain at risk, putting them in even greater danger. 📣It’s time to take action: https://bit.ly/3MgCU9i

Trump Has Never Been More Isolated
