"Today, “terrorism” is bandied about as a catch-all to prop up demagoguery and advance political platforms in electoral democracies while it is used to justify government suppression by non-democratic regimes."

What defines Terrorism? The Identity of the Victim or that of the Victimizer?
Perhaps the most problematic aspects of the "War on Terror” are connected to its ambiguity: unbounded by space and time, and with an ill-defined enemy, the "War on Terror” is an oxymoron

When counterterrorism fails, it often leads to a series of unintended consequences that can exacerbate the very issues it aims to resolve; the rise of extremist groups becomes more pronounced, as they exploit the failures to gain traction and support among disaffected populations.

If people want to understand government, politics, and what is playing out maybe they should look into the past.

"The past portends the future" is a way of saying that the past can be used to predict the future.

The common narrative is that #Ukraine is corrupt and fighting a "dirty" war. That is merely a Russian talking point. Did the Jews deserve to be wiped out? What about Native Americans? There is a great deal of mistreatment, torture, and power grabs going on now and Ukrainians are NOT to blame.

The Iroquois Confederacy influenced the Bill of Rights and the U.S. Constitution. The Iroquois Confederacy's Great Law of Peace, or Gayanesshagowa, established principles that are similar to the democratic principles in the U.S. Constitution. 1/3

While some Native American tribes were peaceful, others were more warlike. The thing is - there is nothing wrong with that especially when you consider balance and ethical decision making.

Sometimes, war is necessary. Reference Sun Tzu. Every culture has its history. 1/3
