Some of these buyouts are negating multiple years worth of media rights payout advantages for the SEC/B10 vs ACC/B12, just to be irrelevant while your regional rivals are in the playoff race.

The odds of a big fix in Congress right now are basically zero without some kind of popular revolt. Two states at a time is a lot more feasible.

I think we need similar sized blue and red states to make binding ceasefire deals. “If you fix your districts, we will too.” Basically, the opposite of what California and Texas are doing.

Trying to figure out what the negative catalyst will be to get investors to put a stop to this. Even if Elon and Zuck spent themselves into bankruptcy, the surviving ModelCo’s still wouldn’t have pricing power.
