Here's my FUNeral playlist! I'm not dying. I just want to be ready for the party!
"Pop Goes The Weasel" should play after all the words are said. Just to give people one minute and thirty-seven seconds of uncomfortable tension. Then y'all can haul me out to "Hit The Road Jack".

I watched Shaun of the Dead for the umpteenth time today but it my kid's first time seeing it. He liked Hot Fuzz better. But this time increased my love of the script. I think there's hardly a line in the beginning that doesn't come back as a joke later. Amazing.

Successful marriages require inconsistency blindness.
My spouse is blind to me watching dumb, old movies even though I complain bitterly about dumb, new movies.
I'm blind to my spouse watching Hallmark movies full of Karens acting like Karens even though she hates Karens irl.

Remember when you saw Indiana Jones fight the Nazis and thought, "Fuck those guys. I'd punch Nazis" Well, what are you doing right now?

This weekend, when you're watching the SuperBowl and you see football players thanking Jesus, just keep in mind, Jesus watches the Puppy Bowl.

Me (at vet): I guess these canine DNA tests can help predict my mutt's health conditions. It would be nice to know what I should do to keep my dog healthy. Whaddya think?

Vet: (pulling half-eaten spatula from my dog's rectum) I think you should get higher kitchen counters or a shorter dog.

Remember when you first saw Sound of Music and were appalled at what a coward Rolf turned out to be and swore you'd fight those Nazis? Well, what are you doing right now?

Remember when you read The Diary of Anne Frank in school and thought, "Fuck those Nazis. I'd have protected her." Well, what are you doing right now?

I just remembered how I would steal apples off my neighbor's tree and pull a wagon with fishing gear, sandwiches, and kool-aid to the lake so I could fish all day during summer break and now I feel very Opie.

Putting fans in a greenhouse causes the plants to sway. This slight stress causes greater root growth in the plants and better prepares them for being transplanted outside.
This concept is also why I annoy my children regularly.
When you think about it, we really owe it to our kids.

The more I work with AI the less interested I become in a computer passing a Turing test and the more I'm interested in seeing if a human can pass one.
I'm not certain we aren't delusional, biological, probability engines.

A successful marriage is when your spouse accepts that every Saturday morning, you put on that ugly, threadbare, shirt yogot 've been wearing for 10 years.
And you accept that they keep that 'nap' blanket even though it's so thin you put your finger through it every time you pick it up.

Even in these divisive times I think we can all agree that the three best lunches are:
1) Pho
2) A deli sandwich
3) Napping with the dogs

If you get a Basset Hound and a Poodle, and don't name them Simon and Garfunkle, then there is something deeply broken inside you.

Did you know that when you live with someone, it's considered perfectly acceptable for them to just start up a conversation without your consent?
I wish I'd been warned.

The whole tech world needs more projects that aren't trying to become billion- (let alone trillion-) dollar ideas, but are happily shooting for success as million-dollar ideas (or less!).

Do you ever wake up and remember a dream and the more you reflect on it the more sure you've had it before and it's actually a recurring dream?
Is that the night-time version of deja-vu?

If I had more free team I'd sync a team of old Roombas to pull a manual reel mower and glue a little stagecoach driver on top of the Roomba.
I know what you're thinking: "Ooh, Mal, don't be giving away those gold ideas away for free!"

When I was fine tuning my 3D printer I printed this camera cover for my work laptop.
It's supposed to say "Smile".
I love that the print wasn't clean and it looks like it might say "Smite".

I'd love to give credit, but I don't know who the creator is.

More good news?! Yeah!
Kanopy (the free streaming service accessed with one's library card) has acquired multiple David Lynch films in his memory. So, you can watch Eraserhead or Lost Highway for free!
