Interesting. I never considered the Tucker aspect to this.

Patton Oswalt seems like such a good dude. (From this and just from following him for a while on social media.)

Agreed. But defensively... Wildly impressive

All of this! Plus they'll have to pay Q and Cooper after that. I think that, once again, Howie has done a great job this year!

Publishing this after the defense holds a good offense to seven points on the road? I didn't see a whole lot of defensive issues Monday night.

Thankfully this team is talented enough to overcome some truly boneheaded offensive strategy and play calling. Phew.

Their offensive strategy and play calling has been mind boggling. They're so talented as a team, they're overcoming coaching ineptitude.

They're begging Green Bay to take this game.

Speaking of palymakers... Would love to see any kind of shot to AJ too.

I voted by mail a little while ago. The ballot for Philadelphia was some local positions that were pretty straightforward, then LOTS of judges on the ballot, either for retention or being voted in. It's hard to find info about all of these. The Inquirer did a nice guide. Here's a gift link:

From important dates to who’s on your ballot.

Before they get started with this slop, the first premise they're working with is faulty...

"The Democratic Party has moved to the left since 2012"

Um...WHAT??? Do these people even know what left and right is? More Dems have run to the center than anything else.

Yeah, but what do the players lined up behind the QB have to do with officiating whether both lines are onside?
October 22, 2025 at 5:36 AM
Eh, I disagree. There are plenty of times where the lines are bunched like they are on the tush push.
October 21, 2025 at 10:18 PM
But I've also seen sneaks (non-tush push) where everyone knows it's a sneak with the same formations on the line. The only difference is the two players behind the QB and their distance from him.

Same with goal line formations when everyone is bunched on the line. How are those not thought of too?

I'm SO tired of league officials bellyaching about this play. How would officiating be any different on a traditional QB sneak, especially when they're talking about officiating the line? The O and D lines would be in a very similar formation if it was a simple sneak. No problem there, though, huh?

Was the thought from the Phillies brass that keeping Long could help them keep Schwarber?

I hate this idea. Just let Ranger go out for the 8th.
