I had a housemate in college who took a summer job picking fruit in an E. WA orchard. He lasted one day. One.
People picking our food deserve 1) a living wage and 2) not to live in fear of kidnapping.

Y'all don't understand how fast experienced farm workers are.
The average tomato picker pulls 650lbs per hour.
At $20/hr, that's $0.03/lb for labor.

At today’s rally, a MAGA dude in a pick up, started yelling insults at us, and the older woman next to me yelled back, “Relax Cupcake, we’re here fighting for your First Amendment rights too!” Not sure which shut him up more: her defense of his rights or being called “Cupcake”.
