I think it’s a fundamental misunderstanding of perspective. Trump is President ergo (I think he thinks) he’s the embodiment of the Constitution; as a result everything he says/does is legal and “law”.
The sane world knows this is patently false but don’t have the balls to stand up to this bully.

The oath itself proves the hierarchy: Constitution FIRST, then orders. Orders only carry authority when they conform to constitutional limits. The structure of the oath is the argument - primacy matters. To say otherwise is to fail your country and your constitution!

When the DOJ says the reason the boat strikes are legal is based off of circular reasoning: it’s legal b/c Trump says the boats are drug dealer boats, with no additional information. Hesgeth firing JAG. Allies no longer sharing data. The conclusion is hard to miss. Facts matter. Context matters.

I think @gavinnewsom.bsky.social said it best. Though I think “Reciprocal Tariffs” are likely to go down in history along with the Great Leap (backwards) Forward, as one of the WORST.IDEAS.EVER! Latest US numbers inflation: 3% Sept. BUT can we really trust any numbers from this admin these days?

These are extremely complicated divorces. There are so many unknown and hidden pacts and deals (these go both ways) that getting all this out before a vote would have been smarter that buses “with we pay £350M”. People need to vote with facts, not feelings.

Unfortunate, but I believe this to be true based on all the evidence at hand (read or watch world news, not the farce that is the US news cycle)

There is evidence, more than circumspect or circumstantial. But not everyone can (or is willing) to verify these claims independently. That article references one alleged interaction then proceeds to draw conclusions; ignoring the other information which is out there. Birthday Book anyone?
