I’ve been away and it has helped me discover that pottering has become an important part of my life. I miss deadheading while the kettle boils; pulling up weeds at lunchtime; and wandering around the garden at 6 a.m., to see what’s changed, what needs a little help, what’s new #ukgardening 🌱

If you ignore the fact that it’s currently precariously perched on top of my wormery, I think this pot/tiny cherry tree combination is perfect 🌱

This is the second year in my garden. It was a bare patch of land when I got it, the soil quality is extremely sandy and I have two dogs who killed off several plants last year by weeing on them. This is my solution: raised beds and pots. And I’m happy with the progress so far 🌱 #ukgardening

Just trying out this geum/wallflower combination. I wanted salvia as a foil for the geums but mine are still very small so I’m not sure they’re going to work in here this year.

Last year Aldi had a lot of Hostas in. These are mine: coming back strong, despite the slug abuse they suffered last year. I know spring is a smorgasbord of blossom and blooms but IMO you can’t beat a little display of greens #ukgardening #gardening
