Also have heard good things about Sushi Kashiba in Pike Place Market, but haven’t been yet. And Maneki, which is over 120 years old, is a classic gem for Japanese food. Worth sitting with a warm beverage and a book at the Panama Tea and Coffee House around the corner on a rainy afternoon beforehand.

Her pickled vegetables served with a lot of the dishes are wonderful too.

Any time I’m remotely near Federal Way (south on the I-5 corridor, same distance from Renton as Redmond), I make an excuse to go to Theary’s Cambodian Foods and getting the stuffed chicken wings. Sometimes in a combo plate, sometimes not. Those stuffed wings are unlike anything else I’ve eaten. 😍
