So pleased to be in Liverpool today for a showcase event at the Experimental Arthritis treatment centre for children at @alderhey.nhs.uk. Here's Director Michael Beresford starting the day.

@versusarthritis.bsky.social has funded the centre since 2014.

Delighted to be at #ActiveUprising today to consider the relationship between health and growth.

Pleasure / pain workout of the day done.

I've multiple joints that are painful at the moment but there's plenty of evidence to show that exercise really helps.

I'm ready for 2024 to be over, it's been a mixed bag of emotions and experiences. So in preparation for 2025 I'm mulching my flower beds. Bulbs are shooting already which is so hopeful. Hard to imagine they will ever reach their summer glory, but they will.

Thank you to everyone who attended #VersusArthritis parliamentary reception last week. As I shared we believe now is the time for us to come together to call for a dedicated #MSK strategy with long term vision, leadership & funding to improve the lives of 20m people living with MSK conditions.
