Even if it meant spending more! I will never shop at Walmart again. I’m upset to hear that their sales were higher this year than last year and that only foot traffic on Black Friday was down.. I hope more people will boycott Walmart in Solidarity with marginalized people.
Let’s do this!

I just want to clarify that my self doubt isn’t about my stance on Donald Trump. He’s everything I despise and he’s a threat to our country, its people and the world and I’ll die on that hill.

I’m currently grieving my relationship with my sister who voted for him AGAIN, knowing me and my wife, as well as a trans niece, two gay nephews, and a trans nephew’s rights were on the line. After a huge argument, she dug her heels in more saying it’s her God-given right to vote 4 whoever she wants

(I tried repeatedly to inform her about Trump) She (as well as most of my family) are also anti-vaxers and won’t listen to reason. But more than not respecting my opinion, I realize she just doesn’t care about me enough to not only not vote for him, but to not feel an ounce of guilt about doing so 😢

It got very ugly and we haven’t spoken since that day. I wake each day, depressed about Trump being elected, but also, the realization that I’m mourning my relationship with my sister. I roll it around in my head every day, and keep coming to the conclusion that she doesn’t respect my opinion -

They wanted no parts of that. I was told I was acting like a child in Walmart that hadn’t gotten their way and was now throwing myself on the floor in a tantrum, and the list goes on. So I now wake questioning myself, even though I know my truth, it’s still hard to not be full of self doubt.

Also I am struggling with being judged (by her and the whole family) because I was immediately gaslit and told I was being ridiculous and questioned “Are you seriously going to be done with your only sister over politics?” I tried explaining how this isn’t about politics, it’s about our lives but
