We’re having a new floor installed and the installer told Lily she’s the most adorable cat he’s ever seen. There will be no living with her now.

It poured last night, but we still had an excellent time. We had about 250 scary visitors. Not shown: our great 'Rest in Pieces' cemetery, with tenants like: Chef Boyardee, He Pasta Way, Mozart, Decomposing, and I Did My Own Research.

The guy on the left is called 'John Meggos'. He's my absolute favourite! As for sharing - it's actually self-preservation. I hate to see them go to waste, and what am I going to do with all those dahlias? It's an obsession for sure!

We had a great mini vacation, exploring Southeastern B.C., with a venture into Waterton Lakes. Canada is amazing. No need to go ANYWHERE else!

Miss Lily scared us. Trip to the emergency vet (1.5 hours away), at 10:30 last night. She had recent dental surgery, which upset her insulin needs. Hypoglycemia. We got home at 2 am. She is now at our local vet clinic and is very unhappy.

Lilycat went to the vet for dental care today. Her blood work shows something brewing. Hoping it was just an infected tooth. We go back in three months to check again. She was a brave girl!

Grand daughter brought 15 friends from camp to swim and eat cookies. (They're in training to be couselors.) This diva was the star of the show, because she's SO cute!
