Today, I watched the documentary "Sir, No Sir" about the G.I. Antiwar Movement during Vietnam. This was a movement primarily of men (and a few women) who were serving during the Vietnam War and decided what was happening was wrong. I highly recommend it. I found a free version on Youtube.

They'll move on within 24 hours.

Sharing as a respite to all the madness. Normally I shoo geese away because of the poop. But there were already eggs in the nest when we discovered it. Just happened.

Day 28. I've done a lot of this in private. Tonight I just needed to yell in public and this way I don't get arrested.

1) By all means protect your mental health by avoiding doom scrolling, selecting your fights, taking time off social media, spending time doing something you love with people you love etc. But burying your head in the sand for 4 years won't protect you or those around you.

Just at the beginning of this book published 09/23 and seeing things it mentions happening in real time on social media.

I grew up fundamental evangelical -- long before nationalism and prosperity gospel were widely adopted within the sect . I left that belief system behind more than 30 years ago but remember enough to wonder how evangelicals supporting 45 square it with their faith. So I'm reading this.
