When I wake up I immediately check the fire app to see what's going on in LA. So relieves that the kids are in "okay" areas, tho one is right above the Palisades Fire and is still in a Red Flag Warning zone. It is a bit of a mindfuck to check the weather here and see it's 19 degrees.

My wild and beautiful LA is still burning, but I am getting the fuck out. I’m essentially homeless at this point, so it just makes sense. Please help any relief efforts for the displaced and low income and unhoused people and animals. If anyone needs it, they do.

This was at about 11:15 am, then got to watch the #palisadesfire get progressively worse. Eventually power and wifi and cell service in Malibu went down, so I bugged out. I've only been in LA for 7ish years, but these massive winds are like nothing I've experienced. Not normal. Terrifying.
