I wouldn't consider a visit to the US while the current administration is in place. As I run a hospitality business, I do feel for those small non-MAGA businesses that will go under over the next 4 years because of the hostility of this government.

This has shades of DOGE. No one really knows what contribution staff are making until they are no longer doing what they do. Sacking everyone would be a total disaster and hopefully people will see this and vote for someone else.

Yes we have eggs, and a dozen free range medium eggs are around £2.70 (at my local supermarket) which is $3.60, well worth the cost of flinging them at Trump!

It makes me sad that we feel we have to avoid visiting the US as it is a beautiful country. I work in hospitality in the UK and know what an impact any reduction in visitors will have on jobs and local economies.

Many governments now advising people to avoid travel to the US, a UK punk band was denied access and deported because of their stand on Trump. It will be at least another 4 years until I travel to the US. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...
