Do I immediately pine (haha) for the magnificent California trees now I'm gone, absolutely, but also I'm so delighted to be back home, which is a great returning feeling to have after visiting childhood haunts.

We drove out to the tiny town where I grew up today! The drive was lovely, it was really interesting to see how the town has changed & stayed the same, I'm glad I went, and also I'm glad I went & I don't need to again, y'know?

I'm SO glad I'm catching up on Taskmaster over the slush, I'm halfway through the second ep of series 16 and I had to pause and cry because I was laughing so hard at the cheeky pictures

It is many hours later & I've just noticed that my phone's autocorrect has invented Tom Hiddleston's less famous twin brother Tim
Speaking of Tim Hiddleston, it was indeed weird to watch the silly Staged sketch that opened the BAFTAs, get Hiddles and David Tennant on the same screen, and feel... nothing in particular. The witches that cursed my dick are obviously two different witches.

Also seeing Amiel's family was lovely & I had a blast, but most importantly one of the cousins is now planning to run a long-distance D&D game (one shot or longer? who knows) for me, Amiel, and cousin's two kids so that we can all stay in touch 🥰
