That's bonkers. The medical supply companies rip people off like mad--my supplier charges my insurer (which only pays 50%) $160/month for masks I can get on Amazon for $22/month. If you can't find a covered machine, some are available online refurbished or open box for half price.

There are, but courts can't enforce their orders without the executive, and the president appears to be immune from liability for criminal contempt. So Trump gloats about his refusal to obey those orders:
