lmao best guess they filled the system too early and didn’t do enough frequent flushing so when they came to do sampling for commissioning they have had some positive results and now the builder is scrambling to sort it out

i’m gonna say yes for me but i guess it depends on your personal skill set
November 10, 2025 at 7:04 PM
it’s easy - you can get a kit from Amazon for like a tenner to remove the beading and take the glass out, then put your new glass in and refit

plot got a bit repetitive and defo could have left some of those middle years on the editing room floor but overall the good news payoff at the end made up for it, giving it 4/5 on goodreads

well it would have been years ago. it’s too late for them now. this approach to politics has rotted them from the inside out

explaining to my grandkids that the choice was fast trains and healthcare for everyone or a digital girlfriend for elon musk and that’s why they are walking to the witch doctor

it’s depressing to think that soon i’ll be in negative equity because the worst people you’ve ever met spent all the money in the world on a word blender that nobody asked for

i don’t think i have tumble’s backing as i also pledge to reveal the real reason robert the robot suddenly stopped working there
November 9, 2025 at 8:56 PM
as with all diy projects that are firsts for me i will be posting though it as a coping mechanism
November 9, 2025 at 8:27 PM
that sounds more achievable tbh. maybe i should have started on something like that
November 9, 2025 at 8:23 PM
then i get to paint it all.
November 9, 2025 at 8:20 PM
i am doing exactly that in hall, up the stairs, on the landing, up the next flight of stairs, and on the next landing

i need a bigger workbench area in the garage so i can set the mitre saw up in such a way as i can fix a stop to get 800mm length cuts each time without having to measure or think about it. then figure something similar out for the angled bits for the stairs
November 9, 2025 at 8:19 PM
also good excuse to get the mitre saw out
November 9, 2025 at 8:13 PM
ordering the boards to cut up and do myself has worked out so much cheaper than ordering panelling kits. like at least a third of the cost.
November 9, 2025 at 8:13 PM
so i just checked i’ve ordered 128 boards. i think i need 104. so have allowed for plenty of wastage which is good. also would like to do the small downstairs toilet so any extra can still be used for that. i think i’m ok. just gotta make room for them in garage before thursday.
November 9, 2025 at 8:11 PM
this will be the subject of a whole load of diy posts in the not too distant future so stay tuned to see how bad i have or will fuck this up
November 9, 2025 at 8:07 PM
