(🧵 1/7) — Hello everyone! I have a “small” change to announce. Until now, with very few exceptions, I have focused exclusively on support provided by the German government and city partnerships. Starting tomorrow, I'll also highlight aid provided by German organisations.

These three pictures show a HX81 tank transporter in service with the Repair and Restoration Battalion of the 3rd Heavy Mechanized Brigade. Germany has officially delivered 90 of these vehicles to #Ukraine.

A brief note: Yesterday, the Brazilian defence magazine Revista Tecnologia & Defesa published an article stating that Germany is offering Brazil 65 Leopard 2A6 MBTs and 75 Marder 1A5 IFVs, which had previously been rejected by the Ukrainian government.

A brief update on Skynex in #Ukraine: According to information provided by Rheinmetall CEO Papperger during today's Q3 conference call, the Skynex air defence systems supplied by Germany have now also proven themselves in the fight against Russian missiles.

A small but important update on the subject of Lynx IFVs and #Ukraine. Rheinmetall CEO Papperger announced in an interview with @loyalmagazin.bsky.social (published yesterday) that funding for production in Ukraine is still missing, and a corresponding contract has not yet been signed.

The German government has updated its fact sheet on bilateral assistance for #Ukraine and its citizens. Between the 15th of June 2025 and the 30th of September 2025, Germany spent another €2.13 billion on Ukraine aid, without including the now unknown defence expenditure.

It has been a long time, but I finally found some newly released images of a MG3 in Ukrainian service (21st Mechanized Brigade). Germany alone has officially delivered 110 of them to be used by infantry and another 158 for mounted use on Leopard MBTs, Marder IFVs and more.

Yesterday, I publicly stated that the deliveries were nearing completion, and today, just one day later, official confirmation has come from the Ukrainian President. The two MIM-104 Patriot fire units from Bundeswehr stocks pledged in August have been delivered to #Ukraine!

A piece of info that completely missed my attention, but will certainly be still of interest to some. Three weeks ago, Estonia's Defence Minister announced in an interview with BILD that Germany — with Estonian permission — had redirected an IRIS-T SLM fire unit intended for Estonia to Ukraine.

Reminder: The in early August 2025 announced delivery of two MIM-104 Patriot fire units from Bundeswehr stocks to #Ukraine, which have largely been financed by Denmark, Lithuania and Norway, is scheduled to be completed in the following days!

The German government has co-financed 200 portable power stations, which have been handed over to the Olena Zelenska Foundation by the UNHCR Ukraine. They are intended for foster families in Ukraine to stay warm and connected during power outages.

Thanks to donated fire fighting vehicles from the German city of Kirchheim unter Teck and the German association “Ermstal hilft”, a new volunteer fire brigade was very recently opened in the Ukrainian village of Vynohradivka in the Odesa region.

It's that time again. Another year has passed, and my project “GAU” turns three tonight. Three years, in which I spent almost every single day researching and reporting on Germany's assistance to Ukraine to help in its fight against the Russian aggression.

The following images show a recently conducted training exercise with a German-delivered Marder 1A3 IFV deployed with the 36th Marine Brigade. As usual in #Ukraine, the Marder 1A3 IFV has received additional grille protection, a drone cage and has a camouflage net on top.

2) Also very visible after the strike is a tow hook at the very front, which is used to tow the decoy into place (hence the truck shown at 00:20).

PS: Even if it would be a real launcher, it's not worth $50 million like claimed by the Russian propaganda machine.

1) After the strike — which is not even shown as it would be another proof of this being a decoy — you can clearly see that the cabin is made of some metal frame and plywood.

The Russian military managed to destroy another decoy of an IRIS-T SLM launcher somewhere “deep behind enemy lines” in #Ukraine. There are various indicators proving that this is only a decoy. Just to mention two (see below):

The 11th Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade has shared very rare images of an IRIS-T SLM reload vehicle with us (this marks the 4th time I've seen such a vehicle in Ukraine in 3 years). Vadym, who can be seen in the images, states that he mostly transports missiles at night.
