Before 1920, the average NYer would eat around 600 oysters per year.

Plentiful, cheap, delicious and good for you. And the waters were very clear.

Here's a sampler from a local restaurant. Fried, half shell, smoked, grilled and rockefeller.
Good. I can't believe these two psychos got a new trial. They blew their parents away with shotguns, Then went on a spending spree with their millions. Until their bodies were found, then they were terribly sorry because their parents abused them.

Hey friends. I broke my twitter addiction and don't go there anymore. Recommended. I was always ticked off and my comments were right at the edge. I'm a fighter. I see bullies, I knock them down. Otherwise I'm a so-called "gentle giant".

Satisfaction is the best sushi restaurant around finally decided to do doordash. With regular menu prices and 20% off some stuff. Haven't raised prices for 2 years now, inflation proof. Until their Japanese fish gets tariffed.

They buy everything daily direct from their buyers at the tokyo market.

I'm pretty embedded with google, but I'm about to look for a change due to data mining. Samsung already got a look and it's a no. You get this google crap AND an equal dishing of the same from samsung.

Any iphone gurus that hasn't drank the koolaid and can tell me if iDevices mine data badly?

If you're an AI person, have google home devices or use an android phone, watch, tablet, read this.

TLDR: google just made gemini the default assistant. And then today put a pretty severe (IMO) privacy hole in it where it can hoover up your data to "help you"

If it was missed, truhnt has given putin open access to rare earths in Alaska. He gets to send teams to prospect and dig. We knew it was going to be something. And he's also giving them some of the mineral rights we got from ukraine for the aid we're going to stop now that truhnt got his payola.

I wonder if RFK Jr understands the difference in liability between being an internet crackpot, and doing the same in an official capacity?

Hopefully the families involved sue.

They're doing these things because they don't intend to leave office.

So I've noticed the following involving late night tv since the Colbert cancellation.

No Jimmy Kimmel (guest host for summer) last week, or this week. ABC

Seth Meyers and Jimmy Fallon, still on, still dissing truhnt. But I noticed that Fallon is now calling him "president trump". NBC

I decided to spend 4 years complaining about the price of random grocery items. Not sure why I feel motivated to do that, but I'm also going to demonstrate the shopping skills of a demented rodent.

6/1, ground beef, 3 lbs for $9.

Guess what it is today? No spoilers1😆

Why is Bluesky here?

It got some "tech bro" money, but not much and even if they're super skinny, it's a sudden twitter knockoff based on the former twitter owners site that's a free lunch. No fees. No subs. Maybe later.

"build it and they'll come"? But those that came left without their money.

The very best news. Lie for 8 years to get people to buy something that still hasn't materialized. Then kill them with your product while the adulation continues. I guess the masses like the idea of dumbass "rich" guys that treat them like crap. Stupid codependence.

Wasn't that what truhnt was supposed to head off?

Will he respond to the first salvo in two weeks or 50 days?

Will I keep asking dumb questions? Yes, I will!

Yup. We've reached Shower Beer time.

Terrific summer beer btw. Excellent with grilled food. Orange and an Everclear finish as it's a 9.5%ABV beer.😂

For an IPA, light and easy drinking. No bitterness.

If only we'd have made movies about doing this exact thing and it turning out badly for people.
