I’m one of those people but like what ya like! It legitimately has a lot of things going for it like the set and creature designs. They might not feel like Mario, but they’re super creative and fun.

The animated one is a more “competent” movie for sure, but 1993 wins for me and had me cackling. It’s extremely entertaining, especially when you know that Hoskins and Leguizamo were wasted the whole time (it shows!) and a bunch of it was made up on the spot.

I’m usually not into the idea of making a movie black and white after the fact, but it works really well here.

Supposedly, this is how the director always wanted it to look, but the studio folks said no at the time. I’m sure I’ll dig the color version too, but I imagine this will be my go to.

The movie still rules regardless! It just caught me off guard when my subwoofer started doing stuff I’d never heard it do before haha… Really gives the speakers a workout.

Mainly stick to gaming on the weekends these days, and I just beat Chronos in Hades 2 for the second time! I haven’t haven’t had a successful run on the surface yet, but getting closer each time. Really digging it so far though!

If you have a decent sound setup, the audio was really impressive for Sinners too!

That rules. It’s so absurd and fun! Russell Crowe really should have played more villains because he was a natural at it.

That’s awesome! I wish I could convince my family to watch cool stuff like old martial arts films. Worth noting that this is not a family friendly one though haha

It’s a weird mix of a fairly dark serial killer plot with tons of cheesy martial arts bullshit too. The soundtrack has this dreamy quality to it that makes everything feel super surreal, and I adored it. Definitely going to be revisiting this one.

The doughnut and the pumpkin they’re holding look like they’ve been covered in lube. The leaves surrounding them have a dull look that kind of emphasize this.

I just picked up Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Bridge too! I haven’t seen either before. I loved Roman Holiday though and want to check out Hepburn’s other movies.

The Switch Lite is slightly too big for me to justify the separate purchase. I want something that fits in my pocket and I can play in bed while laying on my back.

I’d probably still be using my Vita regularly if they didn’t stop making games for it. I really just want a Vita successor haha
