Picked up The First Slam Dunk as a $10 blind buy. Haven’t watched or played basketball in probably 15 years, and my first exposure to the Slam Dunk series.
This thing had me glued to the screen and cheering for a high school basketball game like I was really there. Highly recommended.

Super Mario Bros. (1993). What a glorious dumpster fire of a movie. I remember when this looked fancy and futuristic to my shitty kid brain back in the day. Loved it then, and for very different reasons, still love it now.

Just went to a showing of Johnny Mnemonic in Black & White. Never seen the original, but this was incredible. It has Dolph Lundgren as a cyborg Jesus assassin that screams “Jesus Time!” & crucifies Henry Rollins. It looked fantastic in B&W too. Loved every second. 5 out of 5, no notes.

I went into Undefeatable blind, thinking it was just going to be a cheesy martial arts movie with Cynthia Rothrock, and that would have been more than enough.
I was very wrong! Definitely one of the best I’ve seen from Vinegar Syndrome. Looks fantastic in 4k too. Highly recommended.

Got a Rhythmatica TDC10 drum controller for $50 used on ebay, and it surprisingly works! Gave it a test run, but going to finally try to get into my first Taiko no Tatsujin tomorrow (when it’s not 10pm).

I bought Bayonetta 3 on launch day, played two hours, and didn’t touch it again until yesterday. Old news to most by now, but it runs really great on Switch 2. It absolutely rules.
