where the only place i've been able to find any USEFUL information beyond "this song exists somewhere" has been a singular old style japanese fan page that has been maintained by one guy for 25 years

and then i'll be confused like "when did you get here" even if i've been petting him

People keep recommending yt-dlp with the whole commandline caveat, but there's an interface for it.

And the interface itself doesn't need updated. Whenever it breaks from youtube updating stuff, just grab the newest version of yt-dlp and slap it into this thing's folder.
