TBH I thought they would double down, I was bracing myself for it. Though I’m happy they (mostly) backtracked, the answers were really murky. It feels like a “we’re going to stop because ppl are mad” situation, not “we’re going to stop because it’s bad”.

I feel like this is the beginning of something bad. Bigotry has no place anywhere, but somehow one type of hate is always used to fuel another, used to gain more control and fabricate justification.

I really don’t think you want this to be a part of your legacy. I don’t think you want to become one of those “yeah they’re doing unethical things, but I’ll still play their games because I no longer have moral expectations from them” developers.
