Big day at the post office, picking up a package with three new moe. Instant Live CDs. 30 shows were released in total. Six were later mass produced. The other 24 are tough to find. These are three of the tough ones. With these CDs, I now have 17 of 30, with another one coming next week.

Getting close to peak foliage here in Craftsbury, Vermont. Foliage is early this year due to drought. If you’re planning to come second week in October like usual you’ll miss out!

Took a half-day yesterday to see the dentist. I come in this morning and my pencil sharpener is jammed. After 30 minutes of disassembly and reassembly, I find the end of a mechanical pencil inside. Hence, the new sign.

I’m not sure how many times I’ve seen this in a theater, but I’m happy see it one more time.

I found this 5.5-inch square nail on my hike today. There were lots of hillside farms in the 18th and 19th centuries that were later abandoned and you’ll find all sorts of debris, but this hill was too steep to farm and I couldn’t find a nearby cellar hole, so I’m at a loss as to how it got there.

55 years ago, the Grateful Dead embarked on the Festival Express tour of Canada. The tour was a bit of a train wreck, but they got a good movie out of it.
