GA #HB307 just passed through the House Education Committee with overwhelming support! It was strengthened even further by adding literacy coaches—a key component for successful implementation in our schools!

Next stop: Appropriations and then a full House vote!

See these kids with #dyslexia who were at the #Georgia Capitol a week ago? A lot have access to accommodations through Section 504; many will go onto higher ed SPECIFICALLY because those protections exist. AG Chris Carr, drop Georgia from TX v. We are delighted that Helen Rice was awarded the International Dyslexia Association Georgia Branch Leadership in Literacy award for 2024 for her tremendous contributions to dyslexia efforts across the state.
