People don't realize how much our open trash cans support the rat population. I'm glad they are thinking about ways to prevent rats from accessing trash.

Rats that have died of rodenticide are a huge threat to birds and scavengers. Clearing dead rats is a huge public service. People should call 311 asap if they see a dead rat.

This is a great overview. It's wild that amidst these cuts, the Mayor's budget proposes increases for the police to have horses.

Saw that. Clearing away animals that have been poisoned with rodenticide is good. Reduces the risk that scavengers will get second order poisoning
