Call 311 asap if you see a dead rat. They pose a huge threat to birds like hawks and vultures who can get secondary poisoning from rodenticide.

1) Rodenticides are killing wildlife at an alarming rate.
2) Pets are getting poisoned frequently as well.
3) Killing rats is merely a bandaid; systemic solutions are rooted in managing waste, including composting.
