Use Rule IX for an impeachment vote. When it fails, do it again. And again. And again. Deny every unanimous consent. Appeal every point of order including ones you just made up. Make every vote be recorded. Be unruly and disorderly. Call Johnson a scumbag traitor on the floor, and then keep going.

I got this useful bon mot from a middle school teacher recently.

In response to, “I DONT UNDERSTAND,” he calmly said, “okay what steps have you taken to understand?”

And that’s when I realized that a lot of folks have no steps.

One day last week the 1st of my 2 back-to-back Contract Drafting sections finished 20 minutes early in doing the planned work for the day — it just worked out that way. They were delighted to be let go early. (The next section took the full 80 minutes — I didn't tell them about the first section.)

From my own many failings in life, I've painfully learned that it's good to be more sympathetic, even when that's difficult. (Tout comprendre c'est tout pardonner and all that.)

Armchair psychology: He's -possibly- a genuinely good person, -clearly- extremely talented, -but- desperately seeking a sense that he belongs, somewhere. (Could it be the long-term aftereffects of psychological 'malnutrition' at critical points in his life?) Seems plausible to me — but who knows.

The absence of CarPlay doesn't <prevent> listening to books. But it's better <with> CarPlay: I go seamlessly from listening on my AirPods while out of the car, to listening on CarPlay while in the car — I don't want AirPods in my ears while I'm driving — and then back to AirPods at my destination.
