"We" as in we in Alberta don't have an abundance of water. If the fever dreams of the perpetual population growth crowd here continue, we will be in exactly the same situation. "we" as in Canada has water, but not always where it's needed.

It's really bad. There are about 16 million people in the region that could be forced to relocate & there isn't anywhere for them to go even if it was technically possible (which it isn't). Larger picture than this is that there are several mega cities like this one that are going to face this.
