Looking at the footage of Trump standing like his batteries just died at the "health" press conference, & I think I see the problem.
Miller was holding the legs of the guy who fainted, & apparently dropped Trump's remote control.
The electronics are more miniaturized these days, of course.

Back in March I had contact cards printed to give people at protests & other locations. Originally the image was going to be a cat sitting on books, but I was in more a badger mood than a cat, and @tkingfisher.com was kind enough to give me permission to use her drawing. 1/

For future reference, you might consider installing one of these in open windows to keep them from going through the regular screens. They're inexpensive
I hope they're home soon!

Group of protesters in front of a church at the Collingswood NJ No Kings protest. Organizers estimate 5,000, which I think is pretty good for so close to Philadelphia.

He's adorable. Mine is currently hanging out behind me hoping it will warm up enough that I'll open a window for him.

I'm getting business cards to give folks for contact info. I was thinking of using a cat sitting on books, but now I'm thinking about licensing the war badger image from @tkingfisher.com as more in keeping with my mood for the next four years.

So I was looking into maybe booking a hotel near DC for the Women's March on 1/18. Prices are all over the map, mostly out of my price range. But in skimming down the list, one hotel's price caught my eye.
$666. Really.

Murphy is the first cat I've ever lived with who has no interest in human food. It still feels weird to eat without cat fussing.

Does this count? It's not the computer itself, but we peons weren't allowed in the room where the actual computer was, so I'm not sure what was back there. I only dealt with the keypunch and the 80-column cards.
