When a friend gives you a to-go package of ingredients from his ramen adventures to assemble on a cold afternoon: (pork) tonkotsu broth with shoyu tare, marinated and roasted pork belly, nori, ajitsuke tamago (soy & mirin soft-boiled eggs), and of course the noodles. 😋

Evening with friends at the movies to see ‘The Room Next Door.’ Could watch Tilda Swinton read the phone book. In true Almodóvar fashion, it was a beautiful film dotted with his signatures. A touching story, if a bit fanciful.
