She is too fond of books, and it has turned her brain. —Louisa May Alcott
I was planning to see it in January. Extremely disappointed to miss it (not possible to see by Dec 21). 😞

Agreed! I have loved von Hove's work on all 3 Miller plays (a mixed bag on the other 3-4 productions of his I've seen).

I visited Munich in 2019 on a self-guided German Expressionism tour and also wound up spending several hours at the Documentation Center — so glad I went. All history museums should strive for such fearlessness in telling the truth.

For physical copies, a policy that subscribers' copies will not have all the little subscription postcards in it. Drives me batty to have those falling out at multiple points while reading. For digital subscriptions, no popups and fewer ads.

But according to the chart Baby Boomers are even more wrong than Gen Xers (the oldest Gen Xers turn 60 this year). There are similar numbers for both generations, singling GenX out for criticism is just weird.

I’m solidly Gen X. There’s always some overlap at the end of one generation & beginning of next bc the cultural experience of those folks are similar but always seemed to me that no matter where other generations begin/end, Millennials must begin in 1982 or the label makes no sense. But that’s me.

Generations used to span 18 years because thats how long it takes to become adult. Millennials should by definition start in 1982 or "Millennial" label makes no sense & youngest should be born in 2000. But generation dates matter little because no consensus about them. In sum I should be in charge.🙂

For art, the Lenbechaus and Alte/Neue Pinakothek. For history, the Documentation Museum — history of National Socialism with an eye to the present — small museum but covers territory very well & honestly, much to think about.
