The vote in the Senate that cleared 60 people was the cloture vote for the House bill (H.R. 5371)
That bill only funds the government through Nov 21 (it's not the "deal")
The Senate deal bill is S.3168 (the text is not up yet)
It will still have to clear the House (& that's not guaranteed)

if the Senate comes up with a shut down deal, the house will have to come back to vote to pass it.
Speaker Johnson will have to swear in Adelita Grijalva.
She will be the 218th signature on a discharge petition for the Epstein files.
The congress show will move into the next episode

There are a growing number of official congressional e-newsletters talking about "delisting" animals from the Endangered Species list.
Recent mentions include the gray wolf, mexican wolf, and grizzly bear.

NYC closed primary v. general election totals by borough.
Margins in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens stayed pretty consistent.
Mamdani did better in the Bronx in then general, and Cuomo did better in Staten Island (closed primary rules probably doing much of the work in primary margins)
