The Oregon Legislature released their 2025 #transportation package and we are sorely disappointed. "It takes money that was explicitly intended to begin repairing decades of harm to environmental justice communities and reroutes it to fuel the very systems that caused that harm," says our ED.

Federal attacks on clean air and clean transportation keep on coming, but we aren't backing down.
People want clean, affordable, and fast ways to get around NOW.

Removing roadblocks to progress | Climate Solutions
The U.S. Senate has voted to roll back California’s legal right to set standards for air pollution on our roads. It's yet another attack by this federal administration on states’ authority to protect people’s air and lungs from tailpipe pollution.

Renters are vulnerable to extreme weather events like heat waves because they cannot upgrade their homes without their landlord’s consent.

That’s where the Oregon Department of Energy’s Rental Heat Pump Program comes in. But funding for the program is not enough to meet demand.
Oregon is getting hotter. This state program is helping thousands of renters stay cool
The Department of Energy works with approved contractors, who then work with landlords, to install energy-efficient heat pumps and make electrical upgrades to thousands of rental properties like rented rooms, houses, apartment buildings, manufactured homes and RVs.
