As far as I can make out, barely anyone even here in New South Wales is interested in Aussie Rules. I think it's all League. Happy to be corrected, though. (When the wind is right, I can hear the cheering, but I've no idea what it's about really.)

I saw the other day that San Antonio had been penalised by 5 yards. I thought it sounded like an inordinate administrative nuisance for business owners just inside the old city limits, who'd now have to re-register in Helotes or wherever.

Yeah I always thought another reason was that chaos theory was starting to become known, but it looks like I was wrong about the dates, as Lorenz coined 'the butterfly effect' in the early 1960s.

I know there were some cool things about the recent TV adaptation but holy heck am I annoyed that they gave Seldon a sinister agenda. Asimov, & Foundation particularly, were stridently against all this BS antiintellectualism, & we could do with some encouragement to listen to experts occasionally.
