I've written a musical!

In my 1st bsky post I said I was writing a fantasy musical... well it lives! It's a 25-minute fantasy adventure. It's only a rough cut so far (I'll find singers & make a proper recording) but check it out: youtu.be/_aIgcnV8I68

A 3D piece of music, based on ideas from my prior post. I'm calling it "A Prayer to Foreign Gods" (title inspired by the glade scene in Part 11 of "Welcome to the Horizon" @midnightburger.bsky.social.)

I never meant to be "the multidimensional time music guy," but the role seems otherwise vacant!

My daughter asked if I knew the Spanish word for heart. I totally do, but couldn't think of it. I wanted to remember, but after a couple days, I gave up & looked it up. Kicked myself. Kicked myself again that evening, when I realised I was wearing my "Los puros de corazón van a ganar la lucha" shirt

Blue amber (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_am...), from the Dominican Republic, glows blue under sunlight but looks like ordinary amber under A MERE BULB—which happens to be an anagram of BLUE AMBER.

1/5: People often complain nowadays about "this timeline," but the deeper cosmic ripoff is that time is a line at all. Music theory provides a nice illustration of how much richer life would be in a universe with two time dimensions. This thread's about 2D-time harmony. #musictheory #math

Artichoke heart in a negroni: not particularly good. I tried it so you don't have to.

Hey what's with David Rees' wikipedia page not even mentioning The Skeleton Killers? They had some absolute bangers.

Universal Basic Income. I'm no expert, but I really think this is one of the biggest issues. We're so easily distracted, wearied, pitted against each other & bamboozled when we're scrambling to get by & feeling powerless. People who feel secure can let go of the fear & hatred & work & plan together.

Electé español en Bluesky porque creo puedo leer español, no porque, en verdad, puedo leer español.

Entonces, si me suscribo sin querer a cuentas conservativos hispanohablantes, ¡no me juzga por favor!

@peipolitical.bsky.social yesterday advised newcomers to post a few things to help clarify who we are. So I'll post a video of a recent project, where I altered the code in a pacman clone to use accordion instead of keyboard input. (Maybe just raises more questions.)
