WW1 Officer’s death plaque for 2nd Lt Sydney Howard Hodges. 2nd Lt Hodges died on the 17th October 1914 he was an officer in the 4th Bn Royal Fusiliers he was only 23 years of age. 1st Battle of Ypres. This item is available on www.dbgmilitaria.co.uk

Thorpe Abbotts 100th bomb group US 8th air force museum, it will be one of the go to places to visit in 2024 for anyone interested in WW2 history.

Tank for Tuesday, the Ashford tank. As far as I am aware the Ashford tank is the only surviving tank given to towns after WW1 all the others have been scrapped which for me makes this tank very important.
