I mean, the "who is paying it to whom" is obvious in this case: I'm the one paying it, and I'm paying it to the distributor.

I have my doubts that they ever really went into "hibernation" - it's more like they were too scared to speak stuff out in the open until WW2 was far enough in the rear-view window.
Hence the reason I don't say "racist eugenicist," I just follow Indy's lead.

More HELIX recovery (via Scott Nutter of NKU, who's leading recovery). The long time on the glacier meant the digging needed was out of the *inside* of the experiment, since it filled with snow!
A few of my collaborators are fond of putting "Easter eggs" on payloads. See if you can find it.

The recovery team for HELIX finally got there! After spending a month or so on Ellesmere, the payload - what's left of it - is on its way back.

Literally the first thing I entered was "can infinite impulse response filters be parallelized in an FPGA?" Just tried it again, and every suggestion it gives is wrong. My favorite one is below, because it's mathematically 100% incorrect.

Yeah, and the problem is that even if you wanted to make sure that that was now considered OK, you didn't have to make *this* OK! Jackson said it well in her dissent. They weren't asked "is this an OK gratuity?" They were asked "can _effing anything_ afterwards be a bribe?"
