I am indeed a real person. But that's just what all the bots would say, so it's up to you to believe me or not.
Interested in AFL, Science, Music, D&D, and pretending not to care about politics in Australia, UK, Europe, America, though I really do care.
3 years is a long time in politics, so who knows what will happen at the next election. But holy shit this seems momentous. The Nats will go further right. Maybe the Libs moderate if Ley can hold onto power, but surely Taylor tries to roll her ASAP.

What a win by the Tiges! Was not expecting that result at all but it was one hell of an effort. Lalor looks a bit special.

"Killing Americans" sure sounds like a line they'll use as a justification for sanctions and future aggressive moves against Canada.

I don't think that question even needs to be asked. The coalition will be looking to throw away as many climate related policies as they can. It's why the LNP cannot win the next #auspol election.

The more I've seen, read, and heard of Auchincloss the more I like him. I hope he can become prominent in Democrat circles.

It seems like progressives the world over will always struggle though, because their ideas involve nuance and aren't always easy to boil down to 3 or 4 words. But at the very least they can ensure their ideas can't be reduced to a negative 3 or words, which conservative parties are very good at.

You're right, a lot of them are bad at Web 2.0. Especially on a national level. Gotta upvote Crockett and Frost as being good at it though, and perhaps Auchincloss, who at least understands that people consume media differently these days and is doing podcasts.

Unfortunately I think people won't vote to stop climate change until it directly impacts them, and by then it will be too late. In Sydney that's frustrating. We have 4 major rivers with large flood plains that would be inundated in a storm surge from a cyclone, impacting hundreds of thousands.

Ah the good old "purge em all" strategy. It's been nice knowing you America.

Every video I see of Tulsi Gabbard doing news interviews just makes me think of the evil spokesperson in XCOM 2. That weirdly out of sync background, the parroting of party propaganda, the dead behind the eyes gaze into the camera that says, "I don't care about any of you."

Oh, I just googled her, yeah I'm pretty sure she's got a Klan outfit at home.

With that quote that's attributed to her she might as well be wearing a Klan outfit
