The regional transmission organization that Entergy New Orleans is part of called MISO is shedding load in New Orleans. This is leading to the power outages, and unfortunately this was done with only a 3 minute notice to the utility and no notice to regulators.

Today I'm learning that I have strong feelings about people traveling with small* dogs that bark incessantly. Especially on a plane that has yet to take off 1+ hour after boarding 🫠
*I probably have these feelings about dogs of any size, but haven't yet tested that assumption
