Io Saturnalia!! It's the first day of my favorite made up holiday, made up, in the sense that my celebration of this fine solstice holiday doesn't much resemble the ancient festival. Still, I enjoy it as a toss back to my Italian heritage: good food and kinky sex are always fun!

I wish I wasn't so intrigued by the "Trump is building a secret data center under that ballroom" theories. It's a fascinating idea, it could even be true, but I truly think it's just for his pedo parade gatherings to ogle and trade undeage sex slaves like pokèmon.

I'm ready whenever folks want to get serious about excising that tumor from our White House. However we need to do it, I'll help where I can. But he's a maggot feasting on the body politic and I'm sick of him. My ancestors are watching. So are yours. We owe them better than this

If these tech cos really needed data centers, they'd commit to using union labor to build them, they'd have their own renewables on premises to power the thing, and they'd offer to upgrade the civic internet capacity to entice communities to WANT them, instead of extorting us. Make demands!

Under Constitution 2.0, there are 5 executive departments, Energy and Environment, Legal Compliance, Health & Communication, National & International Safety, and Financial Equality & Stability. Each has its own enforcement organization to give them leverage under their domains.

Constitution 2.0 update: Bot and AI driven accounts are outlawed, across all social media. Any that refuse to comply become government owned for a decade. The new Department of Digital Safety has the right to every algorithm, every interaction, and the right to intercede in systemic malfeasance

In Constitution 2.0, what if we got rid of states entirely, reduce to a federal level of governance and then a county tier from whom we elect federal representatives? I'm just not sure why the individual states are necessary anymore, why not favor direct democracy & small responsive structure?

Hey, every company who wants my money for their good or service: AI ads immediately earn you a boycott in my house. Every spender, no money.

In Constitution 2.0, anyone selling home automation tech sells you hardware. No subscriptions for software updates. You are allowed at any time to see everything that has been collected from your devices, and access to delete at your discretion. If you opt to sell your data, you get a cut.

A federal judge didn’t “steal” the Commander-in-Chief’s powers—she ruled that DoD exceeded the limits Congress set. That is the rule of law working as designed. What threatens the Republic isn’t judicial review, but officials who insist they’re above it.

In Constitution 2.0, I think it's be fine if we abolish the office of the president. I think an executive council of maybe 5, voted on by ranked choice, and then we divide the functions of the current office between them. Anti monopoly at work

The older I get, the more I hate prison as a concept. I don't think anyone deserves to have their freedom of movement, the freedom of their bodily autonomy, to be removed by the state. I had a dear friend who was an advocate against the death penalty, and I love her, but life in prison is worse.

You know the best thing about chocolate? It's a perfect pairing to coffee. Just like orange. And mint. Lemon. Lavender. Cayenne. Blueberry. Banana. Nutmeg. Or vanilla. Bit of allspice. And of course, beef goes great with coffee too.

You know what no one discusses about Mayor Mandani? That smile was absolutely part of his success. It's infectious. And when staring down fascists, it's defiant. Congratulations to the people of NYC, congratulations to the Mayor elect.

One of the upsides of the Trump residency is that we've proven can break commitments, even contracts, with impunity. SO, when we get the next leftie president, after the Chicago trials have locked up the Nazis, let's cancel defense contracts! Good for our wallets, good for the environment!

Well! To add a little levity to a very gloomy Bluesky today... I get it, I'm laughing into the void, yes I am, that's my confrontational style... if you're not riding with Electric Wizard, Yob, and Sleep, you need to be. Darker than a handsy priest, heavier than maternal guilt. Listen, absord.
