you know, a show you are very attached to, distinguished from a 'guilty pleasure' by the fact that you feel no guilt and would defend the show's quality to the death if prompted, and yet despite that, it sounds completely insane to strangers when you say it's one of your fav shows.

and no. none of them are *cool* things to have opinions and knowledge about. unfortunately, no one *wants* my takes on lesser known 2000s children's sitcoms but those are just the kind of benefits one can expect in being friends with me.

(I mean, to be clear I'm not actually complaining. Even in this hypothetical timeline I'd think sending more aid to Ukraine would be a better use of our funds than hosting the ESC lol)

oh and since we're talking about this again. It *does* have one good line that has now become a part of my daily lexicon. "I have nothing to offer anyone but my own confusion" might as well be the motto of my dating life and, hell, might as well be the motto of the book as a whole, probably.

I vastly prefer my body weight unacknowledged. Just let me pass through life without comment on my weight and appearance and health. If I do bring it up, I want it to be on my terms.
