Almost lost my reading streak on storygraph 😱. Turns out they have a way to fix it and recalculate the streak. Very neat feature, I have to say.

Painting a perfectly white wall so our landlord won't throw a conniption when we move out. I can almost not tell where I've already painted. Almost. Honestly, landlords are just weird middlemen that need to be removed from the food chain. 😡 They're not contributing anything anyway.

Reading Atramentum by @mjduncan.bsky.social set in Colorado and I notice the use of the metric system. Finally, for once, I can understand how far something is! Usually, in my head they have to run for half an our to close the distance of 15 feet, but mm I can do. PS: The book is really good too! 😉

Doing some research for work for the Volvo OEM API and their base url starts with volvoid.eu.. Clearly, this is meant to be "volvo id" but in my brain it's always "vol void". I'm sending my requests into the vol void... Every. Single. Time.

Ok, new theory. The implication of the police chief being the perp because of the sea shanty CD is a red herring and it's really the bumbling, super friendly surfer dude, cop because he knows the times of the tides better than anyone and has heard that incriminating sea shanty in his boss' office.

Current theory, it was the best friend’s bf. His fear of crime shows and gore is a lie and his dislike for "crude" language a hint at the motive that could tie the victims together.

Just started this murder mystery book. I don't read a lot of them but just knowing that it is one, from page 1, I treat everyone as a suspect and analyze their every move. 🙄

I was just informed that I'm an adult (wtf?) and that I can have 2 desserts after dinner if I want to! It has never occurred to me that I can do that! Never. I feel very unsupervised right now.

WTF is wrong with readme.io? they just upgraded their systems without supporting their CLI anymore and the only alternative is in beta. If you only have half a feature ready for automated docs maybe don't roll out an update... 🤬😡🤬
